The main female characters Cheon Song-yi in Who Came from the Stars and Sim Cheong in Legends of the Blue Sea, both played by Jun Ji-hyun, were most attractive in Yeouido Hangang Park and on the Hangang River Cruise (E-land Cruise). In particular, you must go on the cruise if you remember the party on board the cruise ship in Who Came from the Stars where Kim Su-hyeon (as Do Min-jun) saved Jun Ji-hyun (as Cheon Song-yi), who was in danger. The fantastic night view of Seoul seen in the drama will unfold with the Hangang River as the backdrop. One tip to fully enjoy the night view is to first check the sunset time and arrive at Yeouido Hangang Park with plenty of time before sunset to enjoy the scenery. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the Hangang River like local people, then spread out a blanket and enjoy it as if you were on a picnic. Many people order fried chicken or pizza here, so you can order something to eat if you are hungry. You should embark on the cruise which departs just before the sunset. For example, if the sunset time is around 5:30 pm, get on board the cruise that leaves at 5 pm. Why? Because then you can see both the fantastic scenery of the flaming sunset as well as the splendid lights of the nightscape after sunset! If you want something more to see, Aqua Planet 63, where Legends of the Blue Sea was filmed, is near the park. Jun Ji-hyun (as Sim Cheong) reunited with Lee Min-ho (as Heo Jun-jae) here after she travelled all the way to Seoul in search of him.

If broadcasting companies were concentrated in Yeouido in the past, it is now the era of Digital Media City (DMC) in Sangam-dong. Well-known broadcasting stations such as MBC and CJ E&M are concentrated near the DMC. The gigantic sculpture in front of the MBC building appeared in the film The Avengers: Age of Ultron, and copperplates with the handprints and signatures of hallyu stars are placed here and there on Stars Avenue, making it worth a look around. There is even the MBC World Broadcasting Theme Park, and you can experience various things related to broadcast production.

Trendy place on television: Gyeongnidangil Road in Itaewon
Gyeongnidangil Road is the latest, trendy place in Itaewon. It became more popular after it was frequently shown on television programs such as Infinite Challenge. This is the place to go if you want to eat exotic cuisine. It is highly recommended to go to a rooftop bar, a popular place for SNS users and young people, and admire the night view of Seoul and Namsan Mountain.
